BX36 Overview
The Napoleon BX36 Ascent X is an upgrade from the standard Ascent B36, adding ceramic glass, the NIGHT LIGHT top accent, an included blower, and an included remote in the same 37 1/2-inch framing footprint as the B36. The Pan-style burner with included oak log set delivers up to 26,000 BTU on either NG or LP - both fuels are factory-built SKUs at the same price, so there is no field conversion required. The clean-face design with premium safety barrier maintains the Ascent X family's contemporary look.
Framing remains identical to the B36, making the BX36 a straight-up upgrade path for buyers who want the bells and whistles without changing the rough-in. The decorative front options - Black Heritage, Black Zen - and seven decorative panel choices including Newport, Old Town Red, and Westminster brick let the homeowner customize the firebox interior to suit traditional or contemporary surrounds. ProFlame II IPI is standard.

Warranty
The Napoleon President's Limited Lifetime Warranty covers original purchaser registration. Combustion chamber, heat exchanger, gas valve, ignitor and flame sensor are warranted for a limited lifetime. Aluminized parts (burner pan, heat shield, top brace) are warranted for 10 years. Glass thermal breakage is warranted for 5 years. Plated and painted parts (door overlay, louvers, plenum) are warranted for 2 years. Electrical components (blower, switches, wiring, ignition module) are warranted for 1 year. Coverage is for the original owner at the original installation address and is not transferable. Glass breakage by impact, normal wear, paint touch up, gold plating discoloration from cleaning, and consumable items including light bulbs and batteries are excluded. Coverage begins on the date of original installation, or for new construction the earlier of first occupancy or six months after retail purchase. Refer to the owner's manual for full warranty terms.
