Fireplace Insider (FireplaceInsider.com) is owned and operated by Denver Fireplace Products LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company with its principal place of business at 239 Hemingway Ave, East Haven, CT 06512. Throughout these terms, “we,” “us,” “our,” and “Fireplace Insider” refer to Denver Fireplace Products LLC. “You” and “your” refer to anyone visiting the site or placing an order.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing FireplaceInsider.com, creating an account, or completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms and Conditions, understand them, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the website and do not place an order.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page, and the “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For any order, the terms in effect at the time of purchase apply.

Eligibility to Purchase

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract to place an order. By submitting an order, you confirm that the billing and shipping information you provide is accurate, that the payment method belongs to you (or that you are authorized to use it), and that the product is being purchased for lawful use.

Product Information and Pricing

We work hard to keep product descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing accurate, but errors do occur. Manufacturer specifications can change without notice, photography may not perfectly represent finish or color, and pricing systems can occasionally display incorrect amounts.

If we discover a pricing error, typo, or specification mistake on an order you have placed, we reserve the right to:

• Contact you to confirm the corrected price before processing the order
• Cancel the order and issue a full refund if the corrected price is not acceptable to you
• Decline orders that appear to result from obvious pricing errors

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and do not include shipping (where applicable), sales tax, installation, or any other service charges. Sales tax is calculated and applied at checkout based on the destination address and applicable state and local rates.

MAP Pricing and Promotions

Many of the brands we carry enforce Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) policies set by the manufacturer. Some pricing on our site may only be visible after adding an item to your cart or contacting us directly. This is not a sales tactic — it is a manufacturer requirement we must comply with as an authorized dealer.

Promotional codes, sales, and discounts are subject to the specific terms posted with each promotion. Unless stated otherwise, promotions cannot be combined, are not valid on prior purchases, and may exclude certain brands or product categories.

Order Acceptance

Submitting an order through our website is an offer to purchase, not a confirmed sale. Your order is not accepted until we send a confirmation email and your payment has been processed. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including (but not limited to) orders that appear fraudulent, orders for products that are out of stock or discontinued, orders with billing or shipping discrepancies, and orders flagged for security review.

If we cancel an order after charging your payment method, a full refund will be issued back to the original payment source.

Payment

We accept major credit and debit cards, bank wire transfers, and other payment methods displayed at checkout. Orders paid by check or wire are not released for shipment until funds clear. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the full order amount, including any applicable taxes and shipping fees.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping terms, delivery timelines, and freight handling procedures are covered in detail on our Shipping Information page. Delivery times are estimates only and depend on stock availability, manufacturer lead times, and freight carrier schedules. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other circumstances outside our control.

Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address. Inspecting freight shipments before signing the delivery receipt is your responsibility — see our Returns & Cancellations page for the damage claim process.

Returns, Cancellations, and Warranty

Our return, cancellation, refund, damage, and warranty policies are detailed in full on our Returns & Cancellations page. The short version: most unused, unopened items can be returned within 3 days of delivery subject to a 20% restocking fee plus shipping deductions; custom, made-to-order, special order, and clearance items are final sale; manufacturer warranties are processed on your behalf by our technical team. The Returns & Cancellations page is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Installation, Codes, and Professional Responsibility

Hearth products — gas fireplaces, wood-burning units, inserts, stoves, and venting components — are technical appliances that involve fuel, combustion, and exhaust. All products sold on Fireplace Insider must be installed by a licensed, qualified professional in accordance with the manufacturer's installation manual, applicable local building codes, and any required permits or inspections.

You are responsible for:

• Verifying that the product you are ordering is suitable for your space, fuel type, venting configuration, and intended use
• Hiring a qualified installer licensed in your state or jurisdiction
• Pulling any permits and arranging any inspections required by your local authority having jurisdiction
• Following the manufacturer's installation, operation, and maintenance instructions for the life of the product

Improper installation, modification, or use of a hearth product can void the manufacturer's warranty and create serious safety hazards including fire, carbon monoxide exposure, and property damage. We strongly recommend reading the installation manual fully and confirming compatibility with your installer before placing an order.

We Are a Retailer, Not the Manufacturer

Fireplace Insider is an authorized dealer for the brands listed on our website. We sell products manufactured by third parties, and product warranties, technical specifications, and design decisions are the responsibility of the manufacturer. We facilitate warranty claims and provide technical support to the best of our ability, but we cannot modify or override manufacturer warranty terms.

Intellectual Property

All content on FireplaceInsider.com — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, product descriptions, blog posts, and design elements — is the property of Denver Fireplace Products LLC or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright and trademark laws. Manufacturer logos, brand names, and product images are the property of their respective owners and are used with permission as part of our authorized dealer relationships.

You may view, download, and print pages from our site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, modify, or use any content from this site for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

User Accounts and Security

If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent activity.

Acceptable Use

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Denver Fireplace Products LLC, its members, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the website or your purchase of any product. This includes (but is not limited to) lost profits, project delays, installation labor costs, replacement contractor fees, lost data, or property damage beyond the cost of the product itself.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to your purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Denver Fireplace Products LLC and its members, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the website, or your improper installation or use of any product purchased from us.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms, your use of the website, or any product purchased from Fireplace Insider will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Haven County, Connecticut, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Returns & Cancellations page, constitute the entire agreement between you and Denver Fireplace Products LLC regarding your use of FireplaceInsider.com and any purchase made through it. They supersede any prior agreements or communications between us.
