B30 Overview

The Napoleon B30NTRE-1 is the smallest unit in the Ascent family at 30 inches wide. It is the entry-level Ascent and is positioned for space-constrained installs, second bedrooms, or basement rec rooms where a 36-inch unit would crowd the wall. Standard equipment includes ProFlame II electronic ignition, battery back-up, the included log set, tempered heat-resistant glass, and the standard safety barrier. The Pan-style burner provides flame and heat adjustment.

Framing dimensions are 30 1/2 inches wide by 33 3/8 inches tall by 15 1/2 inches deep, which is shallower than the BX series and most of the larger Ascent units. The B30 ships in NG only; W175-0395 ($95) converts to LP. Decorative panel options are limited compared to the larger Ascent and BX siblings, but Heritage or Zen fronts are available, and four media kits can be added to the included log set.

Warranty

The Napoleon President's Limited Lifetime Warranty covers original purchaser registration. Combustion chamber, heat exchanger, gas valve, ignitor and flame sensor are warranted for a limited lifetime. Aluminized parts (burner pan, heat shield, top brace) are warranted for 10 years. Glass thermal breakage is warranted for 5 years. Plated and painted parts (door overlay, louvers, plenum) are warranted for 2 years. Electrical components (blower, switches, wiring, ignition module) are warranted for 1 year. Coverage is for the original owner at the original installation address and is not transferable. Glass breakage by impact, normal wear, paint touch up, gold plating discoloration from cleaning, and consumable items including light bulbs and batteries are excluded. Coverage begins on the date of original installation, or for new construction the earlier of first occupancy or six months after retail purchase. Refer to the owner's manual for full warranty terms.
