Shadow Roll Stone Fence Mantel Overview

The Shadow Roll Stone Fence Mantel is the most distinctive piece in the Bluegrass Collection: a faithful recreation of the dry-stacked limestone fences that line Kentucky's country roads. Those fences were laid by 18th and 19th century Scotch-Irish masons who carried their craft across the Atlantic from the British Isles. This mantel was molded directly from stones uncovered at a farm in Maysville, Kentucky, capturing the irregular shapes, joinery, and weathered surfaces of the originals. The cross-section is 9" deep by 8" tall, and only one length is offered: 68".

Although the Shadow Roll appears to be solid limestone, it is cast in Lexington Hearth's high-definition non-combustible formulation and certified to ASTM E136. The center air-gap construction reduces weight dramatically compared to real stone and minimizes heat transfer to the top surface. Three hand-painted color profiles are available: Fieldstone (the original Kentucky multi-grey), Tundra (cool greys from light silver to deep graphite), and Canyon (warm spectrum of sandstone tan, reddish umber, pale beige, and olive brown). The kit includes mounting bracket, fasteners, and touch-up kit.

Warranty

Lexington Hearth 1-Year Limited Warranty: All Lexington Hearth mantels are warranted against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Coverage applies to the original owner and is non-transferable. If a defect is found, Lexington Hearth will repair the mantel if possible, or replace it with a new mantel of equal or greater value if it cannot be repaired. Mantels are individually hand-cast and hand-painted; minor variances in color, weight, and final dimensions are normal and not covered as defects. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, alteration, accidental damage, normal wear, or exposure to conditions outside the product's intended use. Lexington Hearth disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential damages arising out of breach of this warranty.
