Rickhouse Rustic Mantel Overview

The Rickhouse Rustic Mantel from Lexington Hearth's Bluegrass Collection is molded directly from a 7.5" x 7.5" old-growth timber salvaged from a Kentucky bourbon-aging warehouse. Every detail of the original beam is faithfully captured, including bark-edge waning, mortice and tenon joinery, deep checking, knots, saw marks, and natural wood-grain texture. The slight live-edge profile sets this beam mantel apart from a standard four-sided timber, giving it the character of a true antique while delivering the safety of a non-combustible product.

Built using Lexington Hearth's patented Burncrete™ casting formulation, the Rickhouse is certified non-combustible to ASTM E136, meaning it can be installed closer to a heat source than a real wood beam. This makes it an excellent choice for mounting a TV directly above the firebox. The hollow-core construction keeps the mantel light enough to install on a standard framed wall using basic tools, with no special skills required. The kit ships complete with a mounting bracket, fasteners, and a touch-up paint kit.

Warranty

Lexington Hearth 1-Year Limited Warranty: All Lexington Hearth mantels are warranted against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Coverage applies to the original owner and is non-transferable. If a defect is found, Lexington Hearth will repair the mantel if possible, or replace it with a new mantel of equal or greater value if it cannot be repaired. Mantels are individually hand-cast and hand-painted; minor variances in color, weight, and final dimensions are normal and not covered as defects. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, alteration, accidental damage, normal wear, or exposure to conditions outside the product's intended use. Lexington Hearth disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential damages arising out of breach of this warranty.
