Farmhouse Mantel Overview

The Farmhouse Mantel is the flagship of the Bluegrass Collection and the largest beam mantel in the industry. With an end profile of 10" x 10" running in lengths of 72" and 84", it is built for commercial spaces, great rooms, and homes where a standard 5" or 6" beam would simply look undersized. The Farmhouse is recreated from an old-growth timber salvaged in central Kentucky and captures the wood grain, deep checks, cracks, and ax marks of the original beam in exquisite relief.

To safely support a beam this size, Lexington Hearth engineered a heavy-duty mounting bracket that ships with the kit alongside fasteners and a touch-up kit. The 72" weighs 205 lbs and the 84" weighs 235 lbs, so two-person installation is recommended. Cast in patented Burncrete™ and certified non-combustible to ASTM E136, the Farmhouse can be installed closer to a heat source than a real timber, making it well suited to large-format gas, electric, or wood-burning fireplaces with a TV mounted above. Five hand-painted finishes and custom color options are available.

Warranty

Lexington Hearth 1-Year Limited Warranty: All Lexington Hearth mantels are warranted against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Coverage applies to the original owner and is non-transferable. If a defect is found, Lexington Hearth will repair the mantel if possible, or replace it with a new mantel of equal or greater value if it cannot be repaired. Mantels are individually hand-cast and hand-painted; minor variances in color, weight, and final dimensions are normal and not covered as defects. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, alteration, accidental damage, normal wear, or exposure to conditions outside the product's intended use. Lexington Hearth disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential damages arising out of breach of this warranty.
