Hayloft Beam Mantel Overview

The Hayloft Beam Mantel pays tribute to the simple haylofts above Kentucky horse-stable barns, utilitarian structures where function dictated form. This Bluegrass Collection mantel is modeled directly from a hand-hewn beam with a cross-section of 8" deep and 5.375" tall at the wall edge. That particular profile gives the mantel a generously deep top surface, plenty of room for trophies, framed photos, or stacked decor, while the trim height keeps the overall presence balanced rather than overwhelming. Character details include rough-hewn tool marks, dowel ends, nail holes, checks and splits, and well-defined knots.

Cast in Lexington Hearth's patented Burncrete™ and certified non-combustible to ASTM E136, the Hayloft can be installed closer to a heat source than a real wood beam. The hollow-core design keeps weight manageable and reduces heat transfer to the display surface. The kit ships with mounting bracket, fasteners, and touch-up kit, ready to install on a standard framed wall using basic tools. Five hand-painted finishes and three standard sizes provide flexibility for residential, equestrian-themed, and farmhouse-style installations.

Warranty

Lexington Hearth 1-Year Limited Warranty: All Lexington Hearth mantels are warranted against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Coverage applies to the original owner and is non-transferable. If a defect is found, Lexington Hearth will repair the mantel if possible, or replace it with a new mantel of equal or greater value if it cannot be repaired. Mantels are individually hand-cast and hand-painted; minor variances in color, weight, and final dimensions are normal and not covered as defects. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, alteration, accidental damage, normal wear, or exposure to conditions outside the product's intended use. Lexington Hearth disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential damages arising out of breach of this warranty.
