Horizon Non-Combustible Mantel Overview

The Horizon is Lexington Hearth's most contemporary mantel and the only piece in the Architect Series with a true minimalist profile. At just 3" tall with a choice of 4" or 6" projection, the Horizon is built specifically for modern linear gas fireplaces, slim electric inserts, and clean-lined stone or tile surrounds. The concrete construction and subtle, even coloring emphasize the linear character of the firebox below, creating the kind of crisp horizontal symmetry associated with mid-century modern and Frank Lloyd Wright-influenced architecture.

Cast in Lexington Hearth's proprietary non-combustible casting formulation and certified to ASTM E136, the Horizon can be installed closer to the firebox than any wood mantel allows. This is particularly valuable above linear fireplaces where clearance-to-combustibles requirements typically push wood mantels far above the flame. Two hand-painted finishes (Sahara Sand and Mystic Gray) provide a neutral palette that pairs cleanly with most modern surrounds. Each kit includes mounting bracket and fasteners. Available in 60" (5') and 84" (7') lengths with either 4" or 6" projection.

Warranty

Lexington Hearth 1-Year Limited Warranty: All Lexington Hearth mantels are warranted against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Coverage applies to the original owner and is non-transferable. If a defect is found, Lexington Hearth will repair the mantel if possible, or replace it with a new mantel of equal or greater value if it cannot be repaired. Mantels are individually hand-cast and hand-painted; minor variances in color, weight, and final dimensions are normal and not covered as defects. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, alteration, accidental damage, normal wear, or exposure to conditions outside the product's intended use. Lexington Hearth disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential damages arising out of breach of this warranty.
