MCVST42 Overview

The Kingsman MCVST42 is a 42" zero-clearance direct vent see-through gas fireplace, designed to mount in an interior wall and present an identical fire view to two rooms simultaneously. The viewing area is 37 1/16" W x 32 1/2" H (each side, viewable through chase), with a right-hand burner and dual tempered or ceramic glass enclosure. Both the millivolt and Proflame 1 IPI ignition systems will operate during a power failure.

At 43 1/16" W x 51 1/4" H x 24 1/4" D (framing 43 1/8" W x 51 3/8" H x 23 1/16" D), the MCVST42 requires a 5"/8" coaxial direct vent system and is power vent compatible. The Tempered glass configuration delivers 30,250 BTU on natural gas with 57-59% FE; the Ceramic glass H configuration steps up to 31,000 BTU NG and reaches 66-70% FE on propane (the highest efficiency rating in the Kingsman direct vent fireplace lineup). Three flame display options (Oak log set, Driftwood log set, or Glass Tray with cannonballs) and three surround styles are available; the MCVST42 uses the same surround SKU set as the ZCV42 standard fireplace for cross-compatibility with existing Kingsman dealer stock.

Warranty

Kingsman Limited Lifetime Warranty. The heat exchanger, combustion chamber, and burner are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the unit is owned by the original purchaser at the original installation site. Coverage applies only when the unit is installed inside the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada, in accordance with the printed installation instructions and applicable building codes.

During the first year after installation, Kingsman provides replacement parts and labor for any component found defective in materials or workmanship, with prior approval and through an authorized Kingsman dealer. Accent light bulbs, gasketing, and paint are excluded from the one-year coverage. Beyond year one, the Limited Lifetime coverage is parts only; labor, freight, and handling are not covered.

The warranty does not cover damage from accident, abuse, negligence, misuse, riot, fire, flood, Acts of God, corrosive atmospheres (chlorine, fluorine, etc.), unauthorized alteration or repair, improper installation or component matching, or failure to perform proper maintenance. The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser at the original installation site.
