ZCV42 Overview

The Kingsman ZCV42 is a 42" zero-clearance direct vent gas fireplace, the flagship size in the ZCV Clean View family. The Clean View design pulls the louver behind a flush bezel so the firebox reads like a single uninterrupted opening. Both the millivolt and Proflame 1 IPI ignition systems will operate during a power failure, with Hi/Low flame and heat adjustment on the SIT valve.

At 42 7/16" W x 40 7/8" H x 18 7/16" D, the ZCV42 fits a 42 1/2" wide framing opening and outputs 25,000 BTU on natural gas in tempered configuration, stepping up to 29,500 BTU NG and a 64%+ FE rating in the Ceramic glass H configuration. This is the largest viewing area in the family at 37" W x 31 11/16" H. The chase may be vented for cool-touch walls; minimum vented-chase enclosure height is 72". Four brick liner choices and three surround styles are available. Mobile home, bedroom, and bed-sitting room approved.

Warranty

Kingsman Limited Lifetime Warranty. The heat exchanger, combustion chamber, and burner are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the unit is owned by the original purchaser at the original installation site. Coverage applies only when the unit is installed inside the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada, in accordance with the printed installation instructions and applicable building codes.

During the first year after installation, Kingsman provides replacement parts and labor for any component found defective in materials or workmanship, with prior approval and through an authorized Kingsman dealer. Accent light bulbs, gasketing, and paint are excluded from the one-year coverage. Beyond year one, the Limited Lifetime coverage is parts only; labor, freight, and handling are not covered.

The warranty does not cover damage from accident, abuse, negligence, misuse, riot, fire, flood, Acts of God, corrosive atmospheres (chlorine, fluorine, etc.), unauthorized alteration or repair, improper installation or component matching, or failure to perform proper maintenance. The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser at the original installation site.
