MCVP42 Overview

The Kingsman MCVP42 is a 42" zero-clearance direct vent peninsula gas fireplace with three-sided viewing, designed for new construction or major renovations where the fireplace will be visible from multiple rooms. The peninsula configuration presents a 40-inch front view and a 24 1/2-inch side view, with a right-hand burner and dual-glass tempered or ceramic enclosure. Both the millivolt and Proflame 1 IPI ignition systems will operate during a power failure, with Hi/Low heat and flame adjustment on the SIT valve.

At 43 1/16" W x 42 1/4" H x 24 1/2" D, the MCVP42 requires a 5"/8" coaxial direct vent system and is power vent compatible for long horizontal runs. The Tempered glass configuration delivers up to 30,250 BTU on natural gas and 53-55% FE; the Ceramic glass H configuration steps up to 31,250 BTU NG and 64-67% FE. Three flame display options are available: an 8-piece Oak log set (natural gas only per Kingsman), a 6-piece Driftwood log set (any fuel), or a Glass Tray with bronze ember glass and multi-color cannonballs. The peninsula has no surround group; the three exposed faces are finished with the buyer's choice of facing material on-site.

Warranty

Kingsman Limited Lifetime Warranty. The heat exchanger, combustion chamber, and burner are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the unit is owned by the original purchaser at the original installation site. Coverage applies only when the unit is installed inside the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada, in accordance with the printed installation instructions and applicable building codes.

During the first year after installation, Kingsman provides replacement parts and labor for any component found defective in materials or workmanship, with prior approval and through an authorized Kingsman dealer. Accent light bulbs, gasketing, and paint are excluded from the one-year coverage. Beyond year one, the Limited Lifetime coverage is parts only; labor, freight, and handling are not covered.

The warranty does not cover damage from accident, abuse, negligence, misuse, riot, fire, flood, Acts of God, corrosive atmospheres (chlorine, fluorine, etc.), unauthorized alteration or repair, improper installation or component matching, or failure to perform proper maintenance. The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser at the original installation site.
