TN40-STOVE Overview
The True North TN40 Pellet Stove is the freestanding model in the TN40 pellet platform. It is engineered as a clean-burning, low-emissions biofuel heating alternative for primary or supplemental home heating. The TN40 ships in two body configurations at the same MSRP: a freestanding leg model and a freestanding pedestal model. Both versions are constructed from heavy gauge steel and feature a wide firepot designed to deliver rich, full flames rather than the narrow trough flame typical of entry-level pellet stoves.
Operation is intentionally simple. Easy access digital controls run three modes: manual, automatic, and high/low when paired with an optional wall thermostat. The hopper holds up to 80 pounds of premium PFI wood pellets, refilled through a hinged lid with a built-in safety shut-off switch. Output ranges from 28,200 BTU on low to 40,000 BTU on high at 78.9 percent efficiency, with EPA 2020 certified emissions of 1.36 g/hr. A self-cleaning stainless steel burn pot liner reduces ash buildup, and an automatic igniter eliminates the need for starter gel. Mobile home approved.
