TN20 Overview
The True North TN20 sits in the middle of the True North wood line and is the value workhorse of the family. Like the TN10, the TN20 uses a catalytic-free tube combustion system rather than a catalyst or electronic combustion control, which keeps the operating model simple, single-lever, and easy to maintain. Where the TN20 separates from its smaller sibling is firebox capacity: a 2.0 cubic foot firebox accepts logs up to 18 inches long and produces up to 60,000 BTU on cord wood, suitable for small to medium primary heating applications.
The TN20 ships in two body configurations at the same MSRP: a freestanding leg model and a freestanding pedestal model, both finished in metallic black with a gasketed cast iron door, side shields, and a heavy plate-steel top. Standard equipment includes the air wash system and EPA 2020 certification at 72.7 percent HHV efficiency. An 80 cfm convection blower, a battery pack, a 4 inch outside air adapter, and an LP conversion are all available as factory accessories. This is the Series B revision of the TN20 platform.
