TN25C Overview
The True North TN25C is the flagship of the True North wood line and the only model in the family to use Electronic Combustion Assist with Passive Catalytic Technology. Both technologies are patent-pending. Where the TN10 and TN20 rely on traditional tube combustion, the TN25C automates the burn through electronics combined with a passive catalyst, eliminating the manual bypass that is typical on catalytic stoves. The result is 76 percent HHV efficiency and 1.1 g/hr emissions, qualifying the TN25C for the U.S. Biomass Tax Credit.
The TN25C ships in two body configurations at the same MSRP: a freestanding leg model and a freestanding pedestal model. The firebox is 2.0 cubic feet with an 18 inch maximum log capacity, identical in size to the TN20 but with significantly cleaner emissions and better fuel economy. Battery backup is available so the Electronic Combustion Assist continues to operate during a power outage. An 80 cfm convection blower, the battery pack, and a 4 inch outside air adapter are all available as factory accessories.
