BL42 Overview
The Napoleon BL42NTE is the 42-inch unit in the Ascent Linear family. The size adds about $350 over the BL36 and unlocks log set options that the smaller BL36 does not offer - birch, driftwood, and split oak log kits in addition to the included Topaz CRYSTALINE ember bed. Standard equipment includes the premium safety barrier, ProFlame II IPI, battery back-up, and stainless steel flex connector. Blower is optional, sold separately.
Framing is 42 1/2 inches wide by 39 3/8 inches tall by 18 9/16 inches deep. Up to 28,000 BTU natural gas with optional UHM heat management for TV mounting. Both Ledgestone brick and MIRRO-FLAME reflective porcelain panels are available to dress the interior. NG is factory; W175-0740 converts to LP.

Warranty
The Napoleon President's Limited Lifetime Warranty covers original purchaser registration. Combustion chamber, heat exchanger, gas valve, ignitor and flame sensor are warranted for a limited lifetime. Aluminized parts (burner pan, heat shield, top brace) are warranted for 10 years. Glass thermal breakage is warranted for 5 years. Plated and painted parts (door overlay, louvers, plenum) are warranted for 2 years. Electrical components (blower, switches, wiring, ignition module) are warranted for 1 year. Coverage is for the original owner at the original installation address and is not transferable. Glass breakage by impact, normal wear, paint touch up, gold plating discoloration from cleaning, and consumable items including light bulbs and batteries are excluded. Coverage begins on the date of original installation, or for new construction the earlier of first occupancy or six months after retail purchase. Refer to the owner's manual for full warranty terms.
