BLP42 Overview

The Napoleon BLP42NTE is the 42-inch entry into the Ascent Linear Premium family, sitting one tier above the standard Ascent Linear and below the Vector and Luxuria flagships. Compared to the base BL42, the Premium adds a higher 20,000 BTU output, a premium safety barrier, the integrated NIGHT LIGHT top accent, the Topaz CRYSTALINE ember bed, the eFire Bluetooth controller, and a variable-speed blower as standard. ProFlame II electronic ignition with battery back-up is included.

Framing dimensions are 42 1/2 inches wide by 39 3/8 inches tall by 18 9/16 inches deep, with a clean-face viewing area of 37 1/2 inches by 16 3/4 inches. Optional Universal Heat Management (UHM) routes heat through ducts and lowers clearances for safe TV or artwork mounting above the unit. The optional Hot Air Distribution Kit (LHAD) ducts warm air to a different room. Natural gas comes factory; an LP conversion kit (W175-0817) is available for propane installs.

Warranty

The Napoleon President's Limited Lifetime Warranty covers original purchaser registration. Combustion chamber, heat exchanger, gas valve, ignitor and flame sensor are warranted for a limited lifetime. Aluminized parts (burner pan, heat shield, top brace) are warranted for 10 years. Glass thermal breakage is warranted for 5 years. Plated and painted parts (door overlay, louvers, plenum) are warranted for 2 years. Electrical components (blower, switches, wiring, ignition module) are warranted for 1 year. Coverage is for the original owner at the original installation address and is not transferable. Glass breakage by impact, normal wear, paint touch up, gold plating discoloration from cleaning, and consumable items including light bulbs and batteries are excluded. Coverage begins on the date of original installation, or for new construction the earlier of first occupancy or six months after retail purchase. Refer to the owner's manual for full warranty terms.
