AX42-1 Overview

The Napoleon Altitude X 42 is a refined entry into Napoleon's premium traditional gas fireplace platform, sitting one tier below the Elevation X. The Altitude X uses an updated firebox proportion that delivers an immersive full-view flame, paired with the exclusive NIGHT LIGHT accent lighting and a clean face design. The Altitude X distinguishes itself from the entry-level Altitude with a larger BTU output, top accent lighting, and the eFire Wi-Fi controller as standard, making it the right pick for buyers who want premium features in a traditional cabinet.

The Altitude X 42 produces up to 38,000 BTU on natural gas and 36,500 BTU on propane. A heat circulating blower with variable speed and thermostatic control is included, along with a premium safety barrier and ceramic glass. The 42-inch viewing window measures 28 11/16" wide by 37 5/16" tall. Fireplace Insider ships the AX42-1 nationwide; professional installation by a licensed gas fitter is required.

Warranty

Napoleon backs this fireplace with the President's Limited Lifetime Warranty. The combustion chamber, heat exchanger, and stainless steel components carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects for the original purchaser at the original installation site. Burners and aluminized steel components carry a 10-year limited warranty. Glass, gaskets, paint, plating, ceramic logs, electronic and electrical components, ignition modules, valves, switches, blowers, and remote control systems are covered for 1 year. Coverage is non-transferable and begins on the date of purchase by the original owner. The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, unauthorized service, abuse, alteration, or use of fuel or components not specified by Napoleon.
