6148-B Overview
The Morsø 6148 B places the 6100-series firebox on a tall solid pedestal base, presenting the stove as a piece of cast iron sculpture standing on a single column. The high pedestal lifts the firebox to a comfortable viewing height for seated guests and gives the stove a clean, minimalist silhouette without the log storage element of the 6143 B.
Maximum heat output is 19,067 BTU/hr and the 6148 B heats up to 1,000 sq. ft. Of the three 6100-series configurations (low base 6140, log storage 6143, pedestal 6148), the 6148 B has its own dedicated outside air kit (6148 OAK, sold separately, for stoves manufactured after 9/10). Mobile home approved. Standard equipment includes the convection jacket, airwash system, pre-heated combustion air, pre-heated secondary air, ash tray, and tertiary air supply.

Warranty
Morsø Jernstøberi A/S provides a 10-year warranty on cast iron components against material and manufacturing defects, and a 5-year warranty on sheet iron stove components. Wear parts (vermiculite bricks, springs, baffles, base/front/riddling grates, glass) carry a 6-month warranty. Steel chimneys are warranted for 2 years. Morsø supplies spare parts for up to 10 years after a stove type is discontinued. The warranty period begins from the date of sale and does not cover damage from incorrect installation, overheating, firing with the wrong fuel, draft problems, or chimney faults.
