3142-B Overview
The Morsø 3142 B is the convection version of the 3100-series platform, adding a convection jacket to the same cast iron core as the 3112 B for more even heat distribution throughout the room. Maximum heat output is 28,000 BTU/hr and the 3142 B heats up to 1,200 sq. ft., a step up from the 3112 B thanks to the convection jacket's improved warm-air circulation.
Like the 3112 B, the 3142 B accepts an outside air supply (sold separately as the 7110/3100 OAK kit) and is mobile home approved. The convection jacket draws cool room air in at the base, heats it as it passes around the firebox, and discharges it at the top, eliminating cold spots in larger rooms. Standard equipment includes a riddling grate, ash pan, airwash system, pre-heated combustion air, and tertiary air supply.
