Superior WCT6920 20" EPA-Certified Wood-Burning Fireplace
SuperiorWCT6920 Overview
The Superior WCT6920 is a Signature Series EPA-certified, Washington state approved wood-burning fireplace with a refined arched-front design that pairs powerful non-catalytic combustion with traditional aesthetics. The compact firebox is ideal for smaller spaces while still delivering up to 55,000 BTU and heating up to 1,500 square feet. The fireplace ships as a firebox shell - the BTCEFBK Black Facade is required, plus a choice of two door styles (Steel Black or Cast Iron Black) - for a total of two facade/door combinations.
Standard equipment includes a decorative cast iron log retainer, textured refractory panels, efficient air-wash system, outside air adapter and outside air kit, heat-activated 200-cfm blower, and double air combustion control (all in one). EPA-certified and Washington state approved. Optional F3790 HeatFlo Convection Kit ($674) and thermostatically-controlled Forced Air Kit available. Approved for use with the IHP Brand 6-inch Snap-Pak insulated chimney.
Chimney sold separately. These EPA-compliant fireplaces require Superior Snap-Pak insulated chimney (IHP-brand model Snap-Pak). Most models use 6-inch Snap-Pak; the WCT6940 catalytic model uses 7-inch Snap-Pak. Chimney sections, elbows, terminations, and roof flashing must be ordered separately. Contact Fireplace Insider for chimney sizing assistance.
Important EPA notice: The optional Forced Air Heating Kit was not included in the EPA emissions testing for this fireplace, and per Innovative Hearth Products it cannot be sold as EPA certified when the Forced Air Kit is installed. If your jurisdiction or installation requires maintained EPA certification (such as a Washington state installation, or any installation subject to EPA Phase II compliance), do not select the Forced Air Heating Kit option.

Removable air tubes are warranted for 7 years from installation. Optional blowers and remote controls are warranted for 1 year. Coverage begins at the date of installation and is non-transferable. Damage from abuse, accident, improper installation, normal wear, chimney fires, burning unapproved fuels, or unauthorized modification is not covered. Proof of purchase required.
EPA Certification: These fireplaces are EPA-certified and must be installed and operated according to manufacturer instructions to maintain certification. The optional Forced Air Heating Kit was not included in EPA emissions testing, and using it voids the EPA certification per IHP.
