Superior VRT3536 36" Vent-Free Gas Firebox

VRT3536 Overview

The Superior VRT3536 is the 36-inch Pro Circulating Series vent-free firebox in the VRT3500 lineup. The clean-face design features a tall 28-inch opening with white stacked or white herringbone refractory panels and floor. Unlike the VRT2500/3100 series, this firebox does NOT require a canopy hood for most installations, giving it a cleaner exterior. A junction box is included. Mesh fire screens included.

This firebox is sold without a log set, burner, or gas valve; pair the VRT3536 with any ANSI Z21.11.2-listed vent-free log set. The firebox accepts both 18-inch and 24-inch vent-free log sets. Optional accessories include FBK-100/200 blower kits, OAK-UVFRC outside air kit, and FWSK wall switch. The ASD3628-TI arched textured iron screen door is also available, but installing the door requires the FC36 firebox canopy ($68); both must be purchased together. This is a firebox only. A vent-free gas log set, burner, and gas valve must be ordered separately to complete the installation. The firebox accepts any ANSI Z21.11.2-listed vent-free log set of the appropriate size. Warranty

The Superior VRT Vent-Free Firebox Series carries Innovative Hearth Products' 20-year limited warranty on the firebox and body, covering parts and labor when installed by a listed IHP supplier. Refractory panels and Mosaic Masonry components carry a 1-year warranty against thermal breakage. Electrical components, fans, switches, and accessories carry a 1-year warranty. Paint, plating, and finish are excluded. Vent-free log sets, burners, and gas controls are sold separately and are warranted by their respective manufacturers. Coverage begins at the date of installation and is non-transferable. Damage from abuse, accident, improper installation, normal wear, or unauthorized modification is not covered. Proof of purchase required.

IMPORTANT: Vent-free fireboxes are NOT permitted in California or Massachusetts and may be restricted in other jurisdictions. Customer is responsible for verifying local code compliance before purchase.
