DRT63ST Overview

The Superior DRT63ST is the Signature Series flagship of the see-through DRT family, a 40-inch viewing-area see-through direct vent gas fireplace built for indoor/indoor or indoor/outdoor installations. The flush-hearth smooth-face design, expansive ceramic glass viewing area, side-hidden gas controls, and aged-oak high-density log set with heavy-duty grate make this the top-of-line Superior see-through. Six flame settings with up to 33% turn-down give precise heat control. Listed to ANSI Z21.88, CSA 2.33, PFS report F14-107.

The DRT63ST ships from the factory in Natural Gas only on Superior's larger 8/11 inch 8DVL Rigid Direct-Vent system. Liquid Propane installations require the $343 GCK-E-MONT-B-NP conversion kit (which includes a replacement burner assembly). A dedicated Power Vent variant (DRT63STTYN-B) is available for runs that need it; that variant uses the 4.5/7.5 Secure Vent system and requires the LSMPVK Power Vent Kit ($898, sold separately). A liner is required at order time: choose between Buff Rustic Stack, Buff Herringbone, or Black Porcelain. Indoor/Outdoor installs add the optional LSM40ST-ODKSG (light-tinted) or LSM40ST-ODKTSG (dark-tinted) Outdoor Window Kit, both tested to ASTM commercial window standards.

Warranty

The Superior DRT Multi-Sided Series carries Innovative Hearth Products' 20-year limited warranty on the firebox and body, covering parts and labor when installed by a listed IHP supplier. Glass is covered for 5 years against thermal breakage. Electrical components, fans, switches, and accessories carry a 1-year warranty. Paint, plating, and finish are excluded. Vent components, trim components, and parts not manufactured by IHP are warranted only as supplied by their respective manufacturers. Coverage begins at the date of installation and is non-transferable. Damage from abuse, accident, improper installation, normal wear, or unauthorized modification is not covered. Proof of purchase required.
