DRT40ST Overview

The Superior DRT40ST is a 40-inch see-through traditional direct vent gas fireplace, the Custom Series tier above the DRT35ST. The larger pan burner produces 37,000 BTU of Natural Gas heat, and the wider 48-1/2 inch framing opening accommodates a more dramatic flame presentation. Standard equipment includes a powder coat finish, deluxe split-oak log set, tempered glass with protective barrier screen, decorative volcanic stone, and a painted black interior.

The DRT40ST ships from the factory in Natural Gas with Electronic ignition (IPI/CPI) and seamless battery backup. Liquid Propane is handled in the field with the $137 GCK-40STPFENP conversion kit. Combination top/rear flue venting through the standard 4.5/7.5 inch Secure Vent system. Optional accessories include the EBLK-ST Buff Rustic ceramic liner, three blower kits, four remote control options, and wall switches. The louverless front face on both sides keeps the look clean and unobstructed in either room. Listed by PFS to ANSI Z21.88, PFS report F14-171.

Warranty

The Superior DRT Multi-Sided Series carries Innovative Hearth Products' 20-year limited warranty on the firebox and body, covering parts and labor when installed by a listed IHP supplier. Glass is covered for 5 years against thermal breakage. Electrical components, fans, switches, and accessories carry a 1-year warranty. Paint, plating, and finish are excluded. Vent components, trim components, and parts not manufactured by IHP are warranted only as supplied by their respective manufacturers. Coverage begins at the date of installation and is non-transferable. Damage from abuse, accident, improper installation, normal wear, or unauthorized modification is not covered. Proof of purchase required.
