LDBT48L Overview

The Grand Canyon LDBT48L is the entry size in the Bedrock Traditional Drop-in family. At 48 inches it fits a standard 4-foot opening on a single-sided traditional masonry or factory-built fireplace. The Traditional pairs a Bedrock pan burner with GlowFire refractory log technology, where each log is individually orificed so the flame appears to come from the wood itself rather than from a strip of burner tube underneath.

What separates the Bedrock Traditional from a conventional gas log set is that Grand Canyon integrated the burner tubes inside the ceramic refractory logs. The result is more efficient fuel use with a fuller flame, less flame impingement on the logs (which reduces sooting), and more radiant heat back into the room from the log mass itself. The LDBT48L ships with the deck and base assembly, SIT Proflame II controls with handheld remote, addressable RGB LED ember lighting with its own remote and customizable WiFi app, rating plate, installation manual, flex line, and fittings. Western Driftwood GlowFire logs and finish media (lava rock or fire glass) are sold separately or selectable above. Fireplace Insider ships the LDBT48L nationwide. Installation must be performed by a licensed gas fitter into a fireplace approved for solid fuel burning, with a working flue.

Warranty

The Bedrock Series carries a multi-component warranty issued by Grand Canyon Gas Logs to the original purchaser:

• Burner: Lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects when installed indoors by a professional installer; one-year warranty if installed outdoors. Black paint color, sheen, and discoloration from use are not covered.
• Ceramic refractory logs (sold separately): Lifetime warranty when installed indoors; two to five-year warranty when installed outdoors depending on log type. Color fading from normal use is not covered.
• SIT Proflame II valve, pilot assembly, electronic ignition, and LED system: Two-year warranty against defects from date of purchase when installed indoors; one-year when installed outdoors. Batteries are not covered. Warranty applies only when used with Grand Canyon Gas Logs burners and logs.

All warranties are limited to the original purchaser and require documentation of purchase or installation date. Coverage does not include breakage from excessive handling once installed and fired, improper installation, or weather damage on indoor-rated components. Prior to submitting a warranty claim, the Grand Canyon Gas Logs Technical Service Department must be contacted to diagnose and validate the faulty or defective part. An approved warranty claim qualifies for a $65 labor credit (single occurrence, single trip) applied to the dealer/distributor account.
