A830i Overview

The Fire Magic Aurora A830i is Fire Magic's only built-in combo grill, pairing a full Aurora gas grill with a separate charcoal grill in a single 46-inch unit. The gas side delivers 50,000 BTU across two cast stainless steel "E" burners over a 432 sq. in. cooking surface, while the charcoal side adds 396 sq. in. with a dedicated 26,000 BTU charcoal igniter, adjustable charcoal pan with crank handle, and slide-out ash tray. The Aurora line is Fire Magic's mid-tier collection, sharing the same cast stainless steel "E" burners, Diamond Sear cooking grids, hot surface ignition, and 304 stainless steel construction as the flagship Echelon Diamond, but at a lower price point. The trade-offs vs. Echelon are: analog thermometer only (no digital underglass option), polished trim instead of black-glass control panel, and the rotisserie backburner is a paid option rather than included.

The A830i has two separate double-walled hoods (one per cooking surface), each with its own analog thermometer and spring-assist lift. The optional infrared burner upgrade applies only to the gas side; the charcoal side is naturally aspirated. The optional rotisserie backburner is also gas-side only. Magic View Window is not available on the A830i. The grill is configurable at order time across multiple axes: fuel type (natural gas or propane), backburner with rotisserie kit (yes/no), and infrared sear burner in the left-hand position (yes/no). Lifetime warranty on cast stainless steel burners, Diamond Sear cooking grids, and stainless steel housings. 15-year warranty on brass valves, inner liners, manifold assemblies, porcelain housings, and backburner assemblies (excluding ignition parts). 5-year warranty on flavor grids and infrared burners. 3-year warranty on all other Fire Magic grill components (excluding ignition and electronic parts). 1-year warranty on ignition systems (excluding batteries), electronic components including lights and thermometers, and grill accessories. Labor coverage included for two (2) years up to $120. Warranty applies to the original purchaser with proof of purchase and to single family residential use only.
