A790i Overview

The Fire Magic Aurora A790i is the largest single-burner Aurora built-in size and the closest Aurora analog to the Echelon E790i. With 792 square inches of primary cooking area and 90,000 BTU from three cast stainless steel "E" burners, the A790i delivers serious capacity in the 36-inch class while keeping the Aurora's mid-tier price advantage over Echelon Diamond. The Aurora line is Fire Magic's mid-tier collection, sharing the same cast stainless steel "E" burners, Diamond Sear cooking grids, hot surface ignition, and 304 stainless steel construction as the flagship Echelon Diamond, but at a lower price point. The trade-offs vs. Echelon are: analog thermometer only (no digital underglass option), polished trim instead of black-glass control panel, and the rotisserie backburner is a paid option rather than included.

The A790i is the largest Aurora built-in that fits a standard 37-inch cutout and one of only two Aurora sizes (along with the A660i) that offers the optional Magic View Window in the lid. Like its Echelon sibling, the firebox is 22 inches deep, giving full rotisserie clearance. The grill is configurable at order time across multiple axes: fuel type (natural gas or propane), backburner with rotisserie kit (yes/no), and infrared sear burner in the left-hand position (yes/no). Labor coverage included for two (2) years up to $120. Warranty applies to the original purchaser with proof of purchase and to single family residential use only.
