C650i Overview

The Fire Magic Choice C650i is the largest built-in in the Choice line and the only Choice model with a 36-inch primary cooking area. With 648 square inches across three U-shaped tubular stainless steel burners delivering 69,000 BTU, the C650i sits between the Aurora A790i and Choice C540i in capacity but at a meaningfully lower price than either. Choice is Fire Magic's entry-tier line, sharing the same 304 stainless steel housing, Diamond Sear cooking grids, and double-walled hood as the Aurora and Echelon Diamond series, but with simpler U-shaped tubular burners (vs. cast "E" burners), a satin facade (vs. polished or black-glass), Rapid Light ignition (vs. hot surface), and no optional features.

The C650i fits the same 37-3/4-inch wide cutout as the older Custom II grill, making it a drop-in replacement for many existing islands. Like the rest of the Choice line, the C650i uses Rapid Light push-to-light ignition (no batteries, no electricity) and a satin stainless facade, and ships with a fixed feature set: no backburner, no IR sear burner, no Magic View Window option. The grill ships with a 1/2" gas flex connector pre-assembled. The grill is configurable at order only by fuel type: natural gas or propane, both at the same MSRP. There is no thermometer, backburner, IR, or window choice to make. Ship times are typically faster than the Aurora and Echelon lines because the SKU set is far smaller and stock is more readily available.

Lifetime warranty on Choice U-shaped tubular stainless steel burners, Diamond Sear cooking grids, and stainless steel housings. 15-year warranty on brass valves, inner liners, manifold assemblies, and porcelain housings (excluding ignition parts). 5-year warranty on flavor grids. 3-year warranty on all other Fire Magic grill components (excluding ignition and electronic parts). 1-year warranty on ignition systems (excluding batteries), electronic components including thermometers, and grill accessories. Labor coverage included for two (2) years up to $120. Warranty applies to the original purchaser with proof of purchase and to single family residential use only.
