Country Stoves Sumter 1600 GL Wood Stove
Country StovesT160GL Overview
The Sumter 1600 GL is the entry-level freestanding wood stove in the Country Stoves lineup, designed for buyers who want clean-burning EPA performance at the lowest price point in the family. Unlike the Sprucewood and Prattville stoves above it, the Sumter ships fully built on a black pedestal base; no separate base purchase is required. The stove has a 1.6 cubic foot firebox, accepts logs up to 16 inches, and outputs 55,600 BTU per hour with a heating range of 700 to 1,400 square feet.
Standard equipment includes the integrated black pedestal, a black cast-iron door with ceramic glass, integrated air wash, high-density firebrick liner, stainless baffle, and a 6 inch flue collar. The Sumter 1600 has no faceplate, leg, or door-style options; the variant matrix is intentionally short. Optional accessories are limited to a 150 CFM blower with Dial-A-Temp control and an outside air kit (panel-and-channel kit, 4 inch flex adaptor, or full insulated 10 ft kit). This is the simplest installation in the wood stove family.
