The Carrollton 300 GL is the largest wood-burning fireplace insert in the Country Stoves lineup, scaling the TFT-equipped Carrollton 230 design up to a 3.0 cubic foot firebox for heating larger spaces. Like its 230 sibling, the Carrollton 300 uses Country Stoves Thermal Fin Technology (TFT) cast-iron heat exchanger to deliver 32 percent more heat-transfer surface than a standard insert. It accepts logs up to 21 inches, outputs 100,000 BTU per hour, and heats 2,000 to 3,000 square feet. The 300 fits into existing masonry openings as small as 29.5 wide by 23.5 tall by 16.5 deep.

Standard equipment includes factory-installed dual 150 CFM variable-speed blowers (the 230 has a single blower), making the 300 noticeably more aggressive at distributing heat. Required separately purchased accessories are a warming top (steel or cast-iron) and a surround panel kit sized to the existing opening. Five larger surround panel sizes are offered: 29.5 by 42.5, 29 by 49.5, 33 by 42.5, 33 by 49.5, and a 34 by 50 trimmable. Door trim and louver options match the 230 (Nickel or Brushed Nickel face plate; Brushed Nickel louver requires the cast-iron top). Top, surround, and trim accessories use the 300-specific part numbers and are not interchangeable with the 230's smaller hardware.

Limited lifetime warranty from Country Stoves (Innovative Hearth Products) covering the firebox, heat exchanger, and welded steel components against defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser at the original installation address. Other components such as gaskets, glass, paint, plated parts, electrical components, and firebrick are covered for shorter durations as outlined in the manufacturer warranty document. Coverage begins on the date of original retail purchase. Damage from improper installation, abuse, alteration, or normal wear is excluded. Warranty is non-transferable.
