BRMTN27 Overview
The Bremerton 27 is the entry-level direct-vent gas fireplace insert in the Country Stoves lineup, sized for smaller existing fireplace openings (minimum 27 wide by 18 tall by 15 deep). Unlike the Mallard Point family above it, the Bremerton uses a simpler ceramic fiber log set instead of high-definition logs and offers a more limited façade selection. Output is 25,000 BTU per hour with a turn-down to 14,000 BTU and AFUE heating efficiency up to 78 percent. The insert ships in natural gas configuration; an LP conversion kit is sold separately for propane installations.
Standard equipment includes a factory-installed variable-speed blower, electronic ignition with IPI/CPI switch and battery backup for power-outage operation, ceramic fiber logs with glowing embers, ceramic glass barrier meeting ANSI Z21.50/88, and black painted interior panels. Required separately purchased accessories are one of two Full Front Façade sizes (medium 26 by 37 or large 30 by 41); these new full-front façades replace the older facade-plus-surround combination and include the standard barrier. Optional accessories include an on/off hi/low remote control, a wireless wall-mounted control, an optional 4-sided trimmable surround panel for use with the medium façade only, and an LP conversion kit. Wall switch and remote are not included as standard.

20-year limited warranty from Country Stoves (Innovative Hearth Products) on the firebox and heat exchanger for the original purchaser at the original installation address. Burner, valve, and ignition components are covered for shorter durations (typically 1 to 5 years) as outlined in the manufacturer warranty document. Glass, gaskets, paint, plated parts, log sets, blowers, and electronic components are covered for shorter periods. Coverage begins on the date of original retail purchase. Damage from improper installation, abuse, alteration, gas pressure outside specifications, or normal wear is excluded. Warranty is non-transferable.
