VRT6050 Overview

The Superior VRT6050 is the 50-inch Signature Series flagship vent-free firebox, the top of the VRT6000 line and the top of Superior's vent-free firebox catalog. This is a fully insulated firebox with a 30-inch tall opening designed for large custom applications. The defining feature is the REQUIRED Mosaic Masonry brick interior, which is sold as a separate component and chosen by the customer at order time from sixteen options: four colors (Ivory, Midnight, Slate Grey, Warm Red) crossed with four patterns (Full Stacked, Full Herringbone, Split Stacked, Split Herringbone). Mosaic Masonry bricks are kiln-fired for an authentic hand-laid masonry appearance.

This firebox is sold without a log set, burner, or gas valve. Pair the VRT6050 with any ANSI Z21.11.2-listed large-format vent-free log set. The starting price shown ($7,184) already includes the cheapest Mosaic Masonry interior choice (Full Stacked, $3,595). Other patterns add a delta to the base price. Optional outside air kits (AK4, AK4X, AK4F) are available. Listed by PFS Corporation to ANSI Z21.91.

This is a firebox only. A vent-free gas log set, burner, and gas valve must be ordered separately to complete the installation. The firebox accepts any ANSI Z21.11.2-listed vent-free log set of the appropriate size. Warranty

The Superior VRT Vent-Free Firebox Series carries Innovative Hearth Products' 20-year limited warranty on the firebox and body, covering parts and labor when installed by a listed IHP supplier. Refractory panels and Mosaic Masonry components carry a 1-year warranty against thermal breakage. Electrical components, fans, switches, and accessories carry a 1-year warranty. Paint, plating, and finish are excluded. Vent-free log sets, burners, and gas controls are sold separately and are warranted by their respective manufacturers. Coverage begins at the date of installation and is non-transferable. Damage from abuse, accident, improper installation, normal wear, or unauthorized modification is not covered. Proof of purchase required.

IMPORTANT: Vent-free fireboxes are NOT permitted in California or Massachusetts and may be restricted in other jurisdictions. Customer is responsible for verifying local code compliance before purchase.
