VRE3242 Overview

The Superior VRE3242 is the 42-inch Pro Series outdoor vent-free traditional gas fireplace in the VRE3200 lineup. The radiant smooth-faced design ships as a complete outdoor system: detailed charred-oak ceramic fiber logs, heavy-duty stainless steel log grate, stainless steel burner with concealed gas control valve, hidden battery-operated electronic ignition control, and a wireless remote control are all included. Choose between White Stacked or White Herringbone refractory liners and floor at order time. The 304-stainless steel front face and all weather-exposed surfaces ensure long-lasting outdoor performance, with stainless mesh fire screens included.

This is a vent-free system - no chimney required. VRE3242 ships with NG output of 45,000 to 30,000 BTU (modulating) or LP output of 41,000 to 32,000 BTU. Tall, random, dancing yellow flames provide a realistic appearance. Optional accessories include the WC42SL stainless steel weather cover, the HOOD42ODSL brushed stainless deluxe hood kit (allows reduced mantel clearances), and the DPSS42 drain pan. Listed to ANSI Z21.97 and CSA 2.41 standards (PFS report F14-020). OUTDOOR USE ONLY.

Outdoor use only. This is a complete vent-free outdoor gas fireplace system that ships with logs (or glass media on the linear models), burner, gas valve, electronic ignition, and wireless remote control. No chimney is required. However, this fireplace is NOT approved for indoor installation under any circumstances. The optional Stainless Steel Outdoor Weather Cover is strongly recommended for off-season protection from rain, snow, and debris.

The Superior VRE Outdoor Vent-Free Systems carry Innovative Hearth Products' 20-year limited warranty on the firebox body, covering parts and labor when installed by a listed IHP supplier. Refractory panels, ceramic fiber logs, and ceramic glass carry a 1-year warranty against thermal breakage. Stainless steel facing, log grates, mesh screens, glass media, LED lighting, and accessories carry a 1-year warranty. Burner, gas controls, electronic ignition, and remote controls carry a 1-year warranty. Coverage begins at the date of installation and is non-transferable. Damage from abuse, accident, improper installation, normal wear, weather exposure beyond design, or unauthorized modification is not covered. Proof of purchase required.

OUTDOOR USE ONLY. These vent-free gas fireplaces are listed for outdoor application only and may not be installed indoors. Vent-free outdoor systems are restricted in some jurisdictions; verify local code compliance before purchase.
