DRC3045 Overview
The Superior DRC3045 is the 45-inch model in the DRC3000 Pro Series of contemporary direct vent gas fireplaces. Where the Merit-tier DRC2000 line has been deprecated, the DRC3000 carries forward as the workhorse mid-size contemporary platform: combination top/rear flue, Electronic IPI/CPI ignition with seamless battery backup, reflective black crushed glass floor media, and a black painted interior. This is transitional contemporary styling at value pricing, sized for a 45-7/8" x 41-1/4" framed opening.
The DRC3045 ships from the factory in Natural Gas only. Liquid Propane installations use the field-installed GCKSIT345ENP conversion kit ($137). A facade is required at order time: Vista Frame Black is the baseline, with Reflection Black or Reflection Warm Chestnut as upgrades. The floor media can be customized to Reflective Blue, Platinum, or River Rock. Buyers who prefer the look of logs over glass can swap in the optional Driftwood log set. Optional Black Reflective Porcelain liner, three blower kits, and Proflame remote controls are also available. Note that unlike the Traditional DRT3000 Pro line, the Contemporary DRC3000 does not offer the Craftsman facade or a Millivolt ignition option.

Warranty
The Superior DRC Contemporary Series carries Innovative Hearth Products' 20-year limited warranty on the firebox and body, covering parts and labor when installed by a listed IHP supplier. Glass is covered for 5 years against thermal breakage. Electrical components, fans, switches, and accessories carry a 1-year warranty. Paint, plating, and finish are excluded. Vent components, trim components, and parts not manufactured by IHP are warranted only as supplied by their respective manufacturers. Coverage begins at the date of installation and is non-transferable. Damage from abuse, accident, improper installation, normal wear, or unauthorized modification is not covered. Proof of purchase required.
