ZCVRB3622 Overview

The Marquis Skyline 36 (ZCVRB3622) is a clean-view linear direct vent gas fireplace with a 36-inch frame and a 29 3/4" wide by 16 1/8" tall viewing area. Built in Canada by R-Co. Inc. / Marquis by Kingsman, the Skyline 36 is the most accessible entry into Marquis's linear lineup: 17,500 BTU max input, top 4/7" flue, tempered glass front, and the choice of standard millivolt or IPI (intermittent pilot ignition) valve systems. Every unit ships with a hi/lo wall switch, decorative bronze glass media (5 lbs), and an integrated safety screen barrier.

Framing dimensions are 36" wide by 37 1/8" tall by 17 7/16" deep, making the Skyline 36 a strong fit for tighter walls where the wider Enclave or Serene linear models would not work. The fireplace is approved for 4/7" flex venting, 4 × 6 5/8" hard pipe (M&G DuraVent, ICC, Selkirk, Ameri-Vent), and the PVH58 power vent system for long horizontal runs. Two surround systems are available: the Edge surround (1.5" wide trim, black or stainless, covers up to 36" W × 22 1/2" H) for tile-flush installs, or the Wall Surround Flatt (3/4" depth, black, covers up to 45 11/16" W × 34 5/8" H) for drywall-flush installs where the fireplace is raised at least 1/2" off the floor. The optional Z36FK fan kit and ULK2 universal light kit upgrade ambience and heat distribution.

Valve System Selection

The Skyline 36 is available with four factory-built valve/fuel combinations. Choose based on your installation:

• Millivolt Natural Gas (ZCVRB3622N) - $2,181.30: Standard millivolt system. Works during power outages (no electricity required). Hi/lo flame adjust via wall switch. Best for cabin or off-grid installations.
• Millivolt Liquid Propane (ZCVRB3622LP) - $2,270.40: Same as above, factory-set for propane. Power-failure operation, hi/lo wall switch.
• IPI Dexen Natural Gas (ZCVRB3622NE) - $2,561.90: Intermittent pilot ignition (Dexen valve system). No standing pilot, higher efficiency (65.82% NG), compatible with thermostatic and modulating remote upgrades.
• IPI SIT Liquid Propane (ZCVRB3622LPE) - $2,651.00: SIT valve system IPI for propane. No standing pilot, compatible with thermostatic and modulating remotes.

Conversion kits are available if you need to switch fuel after install (~$105.60 millivolt, $124.30 IPI). IPI variants accept upgraded remote controls including thermostat and modulating output; millivolt variants accept basic millivolt remotes.

Specifications

Warranty

The Marquis Skyline 36 is backed by the Marquis Limited Lifetime Warranty. Coverage applies to the original purchaser at the original installation address and is non-transferable. Specific coverage periods by component:

• Lifetime: Heat exchanger and combustion chamber (firebox)
• 10 years: Burner assembly
• 5 years: Glass against thermal breakage (excludes impact damage)
• 2 years: Electrical components (millivolt valve, IPI module, remote receiver, blower, lighting, wiring harnesses)
• 1 year: Refractory and porcelain liners, log sets, glass media, gaskets, paint, and other consumable items

Coverage begins on the date of original installation by a qualified gas fitter. For new construction, the warranty period starts at the earlier of (a) the first occupancy of the home or (b) six months after the dealer purchase date. Warranty service is provided by Marquis (R-Co. Inc., Winnipeg, Manitoba) through authorized dealers. Damage from improper installation, abrasive cleaners, substitute glass, modifications, water damage, or operation outside the rated environment is not covered. Separately-Orderable Accessories

• Fan Kit (Z36FK, $421): Heat-activated fan kit with variable-speed wall-mounted control. Pulls warm air from the firebox into the room. Recommended for installations where the fireplace is the primary supplemental heat source. Fits all four ZCVRB3622 valve/fuel variants.
• Universal Light Kit (ULK2, $357): Two-lamp accent lighting kit for ambient light independent of the burner. Operates with the burner off; no flame required. Hardwired to a separate switch.
• Replacement Safety Screen Barrier (ZCVRB36CSS, $275): Replacement front safety screen for the Skyline 36. The unit ships with one screen included; this is for replacement if the original is damaged.
• Decorative Log Sets and Media: MQRBD1 4-Piece Driftwood + 4 Rocks Set ($413), MQRBD4 3-Piece Driftwood Log Set ($363), MQROCK2 Contemporary Natural Rock Set ($356), MQSTONE 80-piece Decorative Stones ($412), MQEMBER Ember Chunks ($130), plus all five glass media colors (Bronze, Black, Cobalt Blue, White, ZIRCON Glacier Ice) at $124.30 per 5 lb bag. • Remote Controls: Compatible remote controls vary by valve system. Millivolt variants: GTRC ($357.50), GTMRCN/P thermostat-modulating ($506), GTFRCN/P thermostat-modulating-fan ($804.10).
