WRT4536 Overview

The Superior WRT4536 is the 36-inch Custom Series paneled wood-burning fireplace in the WRT4500 lineup, a substantially larger and more substantial platform than the Pro tiers. The firebox features a 30-inch tall opening with white refractory extending to the front edge and firebrick panels in either Stacked or Herringbone pattern. Standard barometric dampers are factory-installed on both sides, allowing for two AK4 fresh air kits for maximum performance. Fully insulated, full brick-to-face design with no visible interior sheet metal.

This is a true wood-burning fireplace, approved for use with seasoned cordwood, vented gas log sets (ANSI Z21.60/Z21.84), or vent-free gas log heaters (ANSI Z21.11.2 with required IHP hood). Vents through 12-inch IHP wood-burning chimney (12DM standard or 12HT high-temp; Canada requires 12HT). Hidden ash dump for convenient cleanup. The BDG36 bi-fold glass door is available as an optional accessory. Listed by PFS Corporation to UL 127.

Chimney sold separately. This fireplace requires a Superior wood-burning chimney system. Smaller models (WRT/WCT 2000 and 3000 series) use 8-inch IHP chimney (8DM standard or 8HT high-temp; Canada requires 8HT). Larger models (WRT 3500/4500/6000/8000 series) use 12-inch IHP chimney (12DM standard or 12HT high-temp; Canada requires 12HT). Warranty

The Superior WRT/WCT Wood-Burning Series carries Innovative Hearth Products' 20-year limited warranty on the firebox and body, covering parts and labor when installed by a listed IHP supplier. Refractory panels, Mosaic Masonry components, and ceramic glass carry a 1-year warranty against thermal breakage. Electrical components, fans, switches, and accessories carry a 1-year warranty. Paint, plating, and finish are excluded. Chimney components, log grates, andirons, and parts not manufactured by IHP are warranted only as supplied by their respective manufacturers. Coverage begins at the date of installation and is non-transferable. Damage from abuse, accident, improper installation, normal wear, chimney fires, or unauthorized modification is not covered. Proof of purchase required.

This fireplace is approved for use as a wood-burning fireplace, with vented gas logs (ANSI Z21.60/Z21.84), or with vent-free gas log heaters (ANSI Z21.11.2). An IHP hood must be installed when using a vent-free log heater.
