VRE6036 Overview

The Superior VRE6036 is the 36-inch Signature Series outdoor masonry vent-free firebox, the flagship of the VRE6000 lineup. Designed for large outdoor applications, this insulated firebox features an industry-leading 30-inch tall opening height. The defining feature is the REQUIRED Mosaic Masonry brick interior, sold as a separate component and chosen by the customer at order time from sixteen options: four colors (Ivory, Midnight, Slate Grey, Warm Red) crossed with four patterns (Full Stacked, Full Herringbone, Split Stacked, Split Herringbone). Mosaic Masonry bricks are kiln-fired for an authentic hand-laid masonry appearance. Standard equipment includes stainless steel facing and mesh screens.

This is a FIREBOX ONLY - a vent-free gas log set must be ordered separately. Approved for any ANSI Z21.97-listed outdoor vent-free log set (Mega-Flame OD recommended). The starting price shown ($7,727) already includes the cheapest Mosaic Masonry interior choice (Full Stacked, $3,258). Other mosaic patterns add a delta to the base price. Approved for OUTDOOR USE ONLY per ANSI Z21.91. Note: the VRE6000 vent-free firebox does not offer the Mosaic-specific bi-fold door that's available for the wood-burning WRE6000 counterpart - the door isn't compatible with vent-free operation. OUTDOOR USE ONLY.

Firebox only - log set required separately. This product ships as a firebox shell with refractory liner, stainless steel facing, and mesh screens. You must order a vent-free gas log set separately to complete the installation. Warranty

The Superior VRE Outdoor Vent-Free Fireboxes carry Innovative Hearth Products' 20-year limited warranty on the firebox body, covering parts and labor when installed by a listed IHP supplier. Refractory panels and Mosaic Masonry components carry a 1-year warranty against thermal breakage. Stainless steel facing, mesh screens, and accessories carry a 1-year warranty. Coverage begins at the date of installation and is non-transferable. Damage from abuse, accident, improper installation, normal wear, weather exposure beyond design, or unauthorized modification is not covered. Proof of purchase required.

Vent-free outdoor restrictions: Vent-free outdoor systems are restricted in some jurisdictions; verify local code compliance before purchase. California, Massachusetts, and certain municipal codes prohibit vent-free gas appliances regardless of indoor/outdoor placement.
