DRT3040 Overview

The Superior DRT3040 sits one tier above the DRT2000 in the Pro Series, offering the same reliable mid-size traditional direct vent platform with an upgraded facade selection. Unlike the DRT2000, a decorative facade is required at order time. The DRT3040 ships with the same high-definition ceramic fiber log set, combination top/rear flue, and tempered glass with protective barrier screen, but it adds the choice of premium Reflection or Craftsman overlap-fit facades that frame the firebox in a more substantial finish.

Choose Millivolt or Electronic IPI/CPI ignition, in Natural Gas or Liquid Propane. Required facade options run from the entry-level Vista Frame Black up through Reflection (Black or Warm Chestnut) and Craftsman (Black or Warm Chestnut). Optional interior liners include three stacked ceramic finishes and a Black Reflective Porcelain. Three blower kits are available as add-ons. This is the right step-up for buyers who want a more polished face without moving up to the fully-loaded DRT3500.

Warranty

The Superior DRT Series carries Innovative Hearth Products' 20-year limited warranty on the firebox and body, covering parts and labor when installed by a listed IHP supplier. Glass is covered for 5 years against thermal breakage. Electrical components, fans, switches, and accessories carry a 1-year warranty. Paint, plating, and finish are excluded. Vent components, trim components, and parts not manufactured by IHP are warranted only as supplied by their respective manufacturers. Coverage begins at the date of installation and is non-transferable. Damage from abuse, accident, improper installation, normal wear, or unauthorized modification is not covered. Proof of purchase required.
