GDI3NE-1 Overview

The Napoleon Oakville 3 (GDI3NE-1) is the entry-level electronic-ignition gas insert in the Oakville series. It drops into existing masonry or factory-built fireplace openings, turning a drafty old hearth into a 24,500 to 40,000 BTU zone heater. The "H" style burner delivers a full firebox flame with a complete log set; the heat-radiating ceramic glass and flex-vent system make this a cleaner and more efficient upgrade than a continued wood-burning operation.

This is the base Oakville 3 model, distinguished from the G3 and X3 by the absence of a factory-included blower kit and NIGHT LIGHT feature. Add the optional blower kit (GZ550-KT or GZ600KT, ordered separately) when ducted heat circulation is needed. Decorative brick or porcelain panels are required for operation; faceplate and backerplate finishing accessories are listed below as configurable options.

This Napoleon insert is covered by the President's Limited Lifetime Warranty. Coverage applies to the original purchaser at the original installation address and is subject to the terms set out in Napoleon's warranty document. Key points:

• Lifetime: aluminized steel firebox / heat exchanger / combustion chamber, stainless steel burners, gas valves, glass against thermal breakage
• 10 years (parts and labor in years 1-2; parts only in years 3-10): electronic components and igniter assemblies
• 1 year: blowers, accessories, paint, plating, gaskets, batteries, remote controls, light bulbs, decorative media (logs, embers, glass beads, brick panels)
• Excluded: damage from improper installation, modifications, abuse, accident, use of non-Napoleon replacement parts, or installation outside Napoleon's specifications
• Warranty is non-transferable and begins at date of purchase
