The Modern Flames Challenger is the entry-level linear electric fireplace in the Modern Flames lineup, designed for builders, rental properties, and budget-conscious homeowners who want a contemporary linear flame look without paying for the Hybrid-FX or HELIOVISION technology found on higher tiers. RGB ember flame in 10 vibrant color options, glacier crystal media, a 5,000 BTU heater, 5 dimmer levels, and a 7.5-hour off-timer round out the feature set.

The Challenger 50" model can be wall-mounted, partially recessed, or fully recessed into a 2x6 wall. Touch controls on the front black glass plus a multi-function remote handle flame color, brightness, and heat output. Heating area up to 400 sq ft. Indoor use only. 2-year limited warranty (12 months labor) from Modern Flames.

Warranty

Modern Flames warrants this electric fireplace and its component parts to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original purchase. Labor coverage is included for the first twelve (12) months. The warranty covers parts and components against manufacturing defects when the unit has been installed and operated in accordance with the owner's manual. Repair or replacement is at the option of Modern Flames; the warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only. Excluded from coverage: consumable items such as bulbs and fuses; damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, poor handling, operation with an incorrect power source, or installation that does not conform to the owner's manual; and any product that has been altered. Defects must be reported to the Modern Flames Technical Service Department with proof of purchase, model number, and serial number.
