MQVL48 Overview

The Marquis Enclave 48" is the single-sided configuration of Marquis by Kingsman's flagship contemporary linear platform, built in Canada by R-Co. Inc. The 48" sits at the entry point of the indoor Enclave linear range, above the Enclave 34 and below the 60-inch unit and delivers 35,000 BTU on natural gas plus 35,000 BTU on propane through a Proflame 2 IPI valve system. Every Enclave ships with modulating heat output, an invisible glass safety barrier, factory-installed LED accent lighting, and a hand-held Proflame 2 remote with thermostat, flame adjust, and WiFi compatibility (dongle sold separately).

The MQVL48 is the single-sided variant: glass on the front only, with cool-touch wall treatment that lets you bring combustible finishing materials right up to the glass opening. Framing is 46 5/8" wide by 36 5/16" tall by 18 7/8" deep. Vented chase technology requires open air at the top and bottom of the enclosure (200 sq. in. above, 102 sq. in. below minimum on this size); use the optional VL4EG and EGS grills, or open framing per the install manual. The MQVL48 is approved for vertical and horizontal venting using 5/8" Kingsman flex or hard pipe (M&G DuraVent, ICC, Selkirk, Ameri-Vent), and is approved for the PVH58 power vent for long runs.

Warranty

The Marquis Enclave is backed by the Marquis Limited Lifetime Warranty. Coverage applies to the original purchaser at the original installation address and is non-transferable. Specific coverage periods by component:

• Lifetime: Heat exchanger and combustion chamber (firebox)
• 10 years: Burner assembly
• 5 years: Glass against thermal breakage (excludes impact damage)
• 2 years: Electrical components (Proflame 2 valve, IPI module, remote receiver, blower, LED lights, wiring harnesses)
• 1 year: Refractory liners, log sets, glass media, gaskets, paint, and other consumable items

Coverage begins on the date of original installation by a qualified gas fitter. For new construction, the warranty period starts at the earlier of (a) the first occupancy of the home or (b) six months after the dealer purchase date. Warranty service is provided by Marquis (R-Co. Inc., Winnipeg, Manitoba) through authorized dealers. Damage from improper installation, abrasive cleaners, substitute glass, modifications, water damage, or operation outside the rated environment is not covered. Separately-Orderable Accessories

The following accessories are not included in the configurations above but can be ordered alongside the fireplace and shipped together. Contact Fireplace Insider for pricing on accessories not listed in the configurator.

• Tile Lip Kit (48VL-TLK, $118): Five-piece kit with screws for finishing tile or stone material directly to the fireplace face. Order with the unit; install before applying finishing materials.
• Adjustable Vented Platform (VL48AVP, $571): Variable height install platform (approximately 15" to 27") that combines framing and required bottom-chase venting in a single component. Recommended for retrofit and platform installations.
• WiFi Smart Thermostat Module (RCP2WIFI, $228): Plug-in dongle that lets you control flame, fan, and thermostat from a smartphone via the Proflame WiFi app. Compatible with all Enclave Proflame 2 models.
• Decorative Log Sets and Media: MQRBD3 5-Piece Driftwood Log Set ($561), MQRBRW 5-Piece Birchwood Log Set ($542), MQLOAK1 5-Piece Linear Oak Log Set ($561), MQROCK2 Contemporary Rock Set Natural ($356), MQSTONE 80-piece Decorative Stones ($412), MQEMBER Ember Chunks ($131), RBCB1 Cannonball Set assorted ($454). • Refractory Liner Upgrades for See-Through and Bay Configurations: Additional end-panel liners are configurable on bay/corner/see-through models above.
