JUMBOBRNR-ST42 Overview

The Grand Canyon JUMBOBRNR-ST42 is the entry size in the Jumbo See-Through family of vented gas log burners. The See-Through configuration produces a flame visible from both sides of the firebox, designed for double-sided masonry fireplaces that open into two rooms. At 42 inches and 165,000 BTU on natural gas, the JUMBOBRNR-ST42 is sized for a 24-inch-deep see-through firebox of matching front-and-rear opening width.

See-Through burners require a fireplace constructed and approved as a see-through unit, with an adequate flue and combustion air provisions on both sides. The JUMBOBRNR-ST42 ships configured for natural gas with an LP conversion kit included. All See-Through burners pair with Grand Canyon Jumbo AWO See-Through log sets sized 42 inches (where available, 96 and 108 inch see-through log sets are not catalog items, the manufacturer should be consulted directly for those). The kit ships with the burner, lava rock, glowing embers, flex line with fitting, and damper clamp. Logs and control system are sold separately. Fireplace Insider ships the JUMBOBRNR-ST42 nationwide. Installation must be performed by an NFI-certified or otherwise qualified gas professional.

Warranty

The Jumbo Series carries a multi-component warranty issued by Grand Canyon Gas Logs to the original purchaser:

• Carbon steel burner (ceramic coated): Lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects or breakage when installed indoors and by a professional installer. Domestic burners installed outdoors carry a one-year warranty. Black paint color, sheen, and finish are not covered.
• Refractory logs (sold separately or above): Lifetime warranty when installed indoors against manufacturer defects or breakage; five-year warranty when installed outdoors. Color fading from use is not covered. Breakage from excessive handling once installed and fired is not covered.
• Valves, pilot assemblies, and electrical components (if purchased): Two-year warranty against defects from date of purchase when installed indoors, one-year outdoors. Batteries are not covered. Warranty applies only when used with Grand Canyon Gas Logs burners and logs.

All warranties are limited to the original purchaser and require documentation of purchase or installation date. Coverage does not include breakage from excessive handling once installed and fired, improper installation, or weather damage on indoor-rated components. Prior to submitting a warranty claim, the Grand Canyon Gas Logs Technical Service Department must be contacted to diagnose and validate the faulty or defective part. An approved warranty claim qualifies for a $65 labor credit (single occurrence, single trip) applied to the dealer/distributor account.
