OFP42 Overview

The OFP42 is the 42 inch zero-clearance outdoor fireplace in the Barbara Jean Collection and the only built-in (non-linear) outdoor fireplace in the line. It is designed to be framed into an enclosure (chase or wall) on a deck, patio, or screened porch with at least 96 sq. ft. of porch area, 92 inch ceiling, and 64 sq. ft. of screen ventilation. Framing dimensions are 42 1/8 inch wide by 38 1/4 inch high by 18 1/2 inch deep.

Four configurations are offered at four distinct MSRPs: satin coat black with millivolt valve (OFP42N), stainless steel with millivolt valve (OFP42NS), satin coat black with IPI PF1 (OFP42NE), and stainless steel with IPI PF1 (OFP42NSE). All ship configured for natural gas at 55,000 BTU max input. An LP conversion kit is required for propane operation. The fireplace ships with a wall switch and stainless steel screens; a log set, rock set, or decorative stones is required to complete the unit, and 10 lbs of glass media is also recommended for the firebox bottom.
